InterGlobix Magazine Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Jasmine Bedi, sat down in conversation with Sanjay Bhutani, Joint President and Chief Business Officer of AdaniConneX, and discussed the present and future challenges and opportunities for India’s digital transformation—and how AdaniConneX is helping to support it.
How has the initial journey been as AdaniConneX navigates India’s ever-evolving data center landscape?
The journey from inception to our current standing has been both fascinating and incredibly rewarding. In leveraging the robust capabilities of our parent entities, the Adani Group and EdgeConneX, we are proud to have created new market opportunities that are reshaping industry dynamics.
At AdaniConneX, our core focus is customer-centricity. We have garnered the trust of our customers by closely aligning with their needs and delivering tailored solutions in India. Currently, we are actively executing multiple hyperscale deployments across the country.
Yet, this is merely the beginning. Our sights are set high as we aim to establish new benchmarks in the industry. The market is undergoing a significant transformation with the rise of AI, particularly with respect to the “megatrends” of sustainability and energy security. Through close collaboration with partners and the entire ecosystem, we are proactively developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Our recent recognition as Frost & Sullivan’s Company of the Year 2023 in the South Asian data center infrastructure and operations industry underscores the impact we have made. Importantly, the credit for this success goes to our people and a robust culture characterized by excellence, collaboration, and customer-centric values.
