Montblanc Dives to the Depths of the “Iced Sea”

Would you wear a timepiece that looks like it has a fractured dial? What if the dial mimics the characteristics of ice found in glaciers? Caught your attention?

This winter, look no further than Montblanc’s 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date: a timepiece made for diving to the depths of the sea, to explore the world of glaciers—all on your wrist.

Taking inspiration from the frozen Mer de Glace, or Sea of Ice, found in the Mont Blanc Massif, the new 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date comes in a 41mm case made of stainless steel that features applied markers coated in Super-LumiNova for the indexes. The case also incorporates a unidirectional bicolor ceramic bezel, an engraved case back, and a tapered interchangeable stainless steel bracelet with fine adjustment for precision fitting.

The 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date comes with a date display at the 3 o’clock position and the Iced Sea motif at 6 o’clock. Made to explore the oceans of the world, it is water resistant to 300m and also meets the ISO 6425 standard for diving.
