Due to Asia’s being at the cusp of exploding digitalization, with AI hot on the heels, the Asian digital infrastructure market is red hot with investment opportunity. From established markets like Tokyo, Mumbai, Sydney, Beijing, and Singapore to emerging markets like Osaka, Chennai, Bangkok, Taipei, and Manila, the APAC region is predicted to grow in total capacity over the next few years even more than the EMEA market (and only slightly less than the Americas).

As we discussed in our Data Center World Tour in Issue 12 of InterGlobix Magazine, data centers are the growth engines for the digital economy, and they provide both the tools and the services needed to ride this wave of technological demand. Consequently, the data center market in APAC is currently bursting at the seams. Of course, growth can also cause growing pains, and successful revolution often requires evolution: Data centers must continually evolve and adapt if they want to support further development, remain an attractive asset to potential investors, and meet both shifting demands and stakeholder expectations.
