WHY: UAE-IX, powered by DE-CIX, hosted their annual event in Dubai together with datamena, a brand of du. The peering workshop included engaging and thought-provoking keynote presentations from Ivo Ivanov (DE-CIX) and Abou Moustafa (du). Additional presenters were from partner companies—IRAQ-IXP and IXPANSE. The half-day program included a peering workshop that was followed by a peering cruise, giving the attendees plenty of opportunities for networking while enjoying the breathtaking views of Dubai.
