It is true what they say: a Rolex lasts forever.
Swiss luxury watch brand Rolex has been on every wish list for one reasonÑit’s a Rolex. More importantly, their flagship Cosmograph Daytona series has been a favorite for a myriad of reasons.
Synonymous with speed, the Cosmograph Daytona was launched in 1963 for professional race drivers. More than 50 years later, the icon still maintains a class of its own among sport chronographs.
This year, Rolex presents three new exclusive versions of its Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona: One in 18-carat white gold, fitted with a monobloc Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic featuring a tachymetric scale. It sits on an Oysterflex bracelet. The other two in 18-carat yellow gold and 18-carat Everose gold, with a metal bezel featuring a tachymetric scale, fitted with an Oyster bracelet.
All three 40mm watches feature an exquisite dial made from metallic meteoriteÑa rare natural material from outer spaceÑwith black chronograph counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. They come equipped with calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement housing a 72-hour power reserve and is developed and manufactured by Rolex.
