Precision on the Pitch with Hublot

With the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 upon us, the official timekeeper for the event, Hublot, launched a limited edition series to commemorate the occasion: the Chronograph ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 England & Wales. Available in two variations – a 100-pieces limited edition in titanium case with a grey ceramic bezel and a 50-pieces India edition with a gold bezel – the new piece was recently launched in India with the Hublot Friend of the brand, and Vice Captain of the Indian national cricket team, Rohit Sharma.

Unveiled at Baselworld 2019 with Kevin Pietersen at the Hublot exhibit, the 45mm chronograph resonates the spirit of the ICC Cricket World Cup through its very minute yet integral design details. These include the cricket bat-shaped small seconds and chronograph minute hands, the three wooden stump-shaped triple appliqué hour markers at the 12 o’clock position, the event logo-inspired grey and red colour scheme present on the dial and the leather and rubber strap, and last but not the least, the sapphire caseback decorated with the official logo of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 embossed on it.

The Classic Fusion ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 England and Wales chronograph comes equipped with a skeletonised automatic chronograph calibre HUB1155 with a date display at the 6 o’clock position. The date can be easily adjusted by a single pull of the crown, whilst the time can be adjusted by pulling the crown all the way. Priced quite reasonably, the Hublot ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 chronograph limited edition comes on a black rubber coated with grey leather strap with red stitching and a stainless steel deployant buckle clasp.
