Having traveled extensively for business, and lived in five countries, Noelle Walsh knows how to work across borders to improve access, safety, security, and growth for both communities and enterprises. The Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation since 2017, Walsh leads Microsoft Cloud’s operations, services, and infrastructure development around the globe. As the cloud industry faces the challenge of scaling computing power to support and grow equitable digital economies while helping to preserve our planet, Walsh is a key driver of Microsoft’s strategy for more sustainable and environmentally beneficial data center design, construction, and operations and finding ways to help other organizations use Microsoft Cloud in support of their own net-zero goals. In addition to her environmental work, Walsh also excels in creating more visibility and opportunities for women in tech, including previous efforts in co-founding the Dow Women’s Innovation Network in the Netherlands and co-chairing the North American branch.
