Audemars Piguet holds a special place in the hearts of horology enthusiasts. The Royal Oak, first revealed in 1972, is widely recognized as one of the most revolutionary watch designs. Audemars Piguet takes their collection up a notch with two new Royal Oak Selfwinding models in 37 mm—as a part of their 15452 series.
Crafted in white or pink gold, and set with diamonds and colorful gemstones, the two new editions come with a new satin-finished calfskin leather strap that simply elevates its elegance.
Offering a warm blend of pink gold with colored gemstones, the 18Kt pink gold case is paved with 124 brilliant-cut diamonds down to the bracelet connecting studs. The dial features a new beige hue in “Grande Tapisserie”—offering a contemporary flair to the modern beauty. The dial features two pink gold applied hour-markers at 12 o’clock set with brilliant-cut diamonds and is encased with a pink gold bezel that is embellished with 40 yellow sapphires, red garnets and orange spessartite garnets.
The second 18K white gold timepiece follows a similar aesthetic with its rhodium-toned dial enhanced by a “Grande Tapisserie” pattern and applied 18K white gold hour-markers and hands. The white gold bezel is set with 40 brilliant-cut pink sapphires and rubies offering a refined and subtle gradation. Think warmth in the winter sun with a touch of pink, and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in 37mm is what comes to mind.
