Cisha Adams
Cisha Adams leads EdgeCore’s power strategy and engagement with utilities nationally, for both existing EdgeCore campus locations and prospective new campuses and markets. With 17 years of power and energy experience in delivering medium- and high-voltage electric infrastructure in multi-stakeholder environments—all while balancing technical designs and engineering with budgets, schedules, and local community needs—Adams understands how to navigate growing customer needs while being deeply understanding of the challenges utilities face in meeting increasing demand.
Throughout her career, Adams has worked on projects totaling over 3GW and valued at over one billion USD. Prior to joining EdgeCore, Adams owned AWS’ commercial and government portfolio in Northern Virginia as Senior Energy Strategy Manager. There, Adams gained experience in commercial negotiation, risk mitigation, and developing and delivering complex power infrastructure projects. Prior to AWS, Adams worked on both transmission and distribution projects across Southern Company’s energy portfolio, which helped her gain critical insight into the opportunities and challenges utilities face today.
Adams holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a M.E. in Construction Engineering Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
