With over 240 years of history to look back on, Maison Breguet is among the oldest and most prestigious watch manufacturers still in existence. Founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet, it was also the birthplace of one of the most important discoveries for the world of horologerie: the tourbillon. Add that to the Maison’s Classique collection, and Breguet brings to you a timeless neoclassical model with avant-garde dials – the Classique Tourbillon collection.
Starlit Night and Stunning Sight are two new designs to join the coveted collection.
Starlit Night – Ref. 3358BB/VD/986D0 immerses a shower of diamonds in white gold against a mother-of-pearl midnight blue dial. A flurry of gold stars adorn the dial on either side with the off-centered chapter ring at 12 o’clock reflecting the brand’s DNA in Arabic numerals and rhodium-plated gold Breguet hands. The dial opens at 6 o’clock to reveal the tourbillon accentuated by a shooting star-shaped bar made of 45 snow-set diamonds.
Stunning Sight – Ref. 3358BR/8D/986D0 comes in a rose gold case framing a dial full of 281 diamonds. The gems between 3 and 9 o’clock form elegant curves to enhance the diamonds inside the chapter ring, which are snow-set as well. The chapter ring itself at 12 o’clock is natural white mother-of-pearl and features Arabic numerals and rose-gold Breguet hands. The tourbillon is displayed at 6 o’clock and is integrated with a curved and oval-shaped aperture that is highlighted by a rounded gold bar graced with another 14 diamonds.
The bezel and lugs of both pieces are set with diamonds in addition to the crown. Both 35mm pieces are equipped with the 187 D movement housing a 50-hour power reserve.
Breguet’s new Starlit Night and Stunning Sight come fitted with a glossy alligator leather strap in midnight blue for the white gold version and crimson red for the rose gold model.
