An industry-leading example of the convergence of subsea cables, data centers, terrestrial fiber, and Internet Exchange, The NAP of the Northwest is located in the Flexential Hillsboro data center campus. The NAP houses the US cable landing station for The New Cross Pacific (NCP) subsea cable, and the Hawaiki submarine cable also terminates in the NAP. The two subsea cables connected via a fiber ring from the Flexential Hillsboro data center campus to most data centers in the metro area. The region’s leading independent and neutral Internet Exchange, Northwest Access Exchange (NWAX), is on-net along with 80+ network carriers.
