CEO of interconnection powerhouse DE-CIX and Chairman of the Board of the DE-CIX Group AG, Ivo Ivanov has been a crucial part of expanding DE-CIX sites and services in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, and Southeast Asia after joining the company in 2007. Driven by bringing neutral, high-performance, low-latency interconnection services to as many regions of the globe as possible, Ivanov has established close to more than 40 DE-CIX locations globally in addition to a range of partnership models in order to reduce the digital divide in both access and information. He has also been instrumental in creating the Interconnection Academy, which seeks to provide a global standard of excellence for interconnection by allowing current experts in the field to train the next generation of students and professionals in technical, operational, and business-related sectors. This first-of-its-kind program will prepare enterprises not only to satisfy digital transformation demands, but also to be flexible and innovative in solution development.
