What is the significance of Atlantic Convergence 2024 to you?
Atlantic Convergence 2024 was more than an event; it’s a catalyst. It’s where professionals from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean met to collaborate, innovate, and push boundaries. Ideas get sharpened through debate, partnerships are forged, and deals are struck. For those of us in the US, it was an unparalleled opportunity to connect with potential partners who would otherwise remain out of reach. Relationships are built face-to-face in a space intentionally crafted for networking and cooperation. MOX Networks is focused on continued growth and network investment, and that includes extending its network and subsea connectivity to Europe in the future. Atlantic Convergence offers the perfect event platform to explore future opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
How does MOX Networks fit into the overall interconnection ecosystem model, encompassing the convergence of subsea and terrestrial fiber, subsea cables, neutral IX, and data centers?
MOX is the glue holding this digital infrastructure ecosystem together. It seamlessly bridges subsea and terrestrial fiber, subsea cables, neutral IXs, and data centers. As an owner, operator, and major consumer of subsea cable systems, MOX extends its reach across North America and to Japan with cutting-edge fiber networks. Its entrepreneurial approach enables MOX to unlock massive capacity for its customers while driving economic value for partners. What do you expect in Atlantic Convergence 2025?
More of the same energy—and then some. I expect familiar faces from 2024, and an influx of new voices drawn by the success of this year’s event. I anticipate updates on emerging subsea cable systems linking the Atlantic, and I am eager to see the partnerships that will be born from enhanced connectivity here in the US and abroad. The MOX Networks team is looking forward to sharing news about new industry collaborations within the subsea community in 2025! As MOX looks to invest in its subsea and terrestrial networks linking North America to Europe and beyond, it will significantly benefit from in-person customer collaborations at Atlantic Convergence.
