How has this experience prepared you for your current role at BDx?

One of the key lessons I’ve learned from experience in various geographies and diverse industries is the paramount importance of understanding and navigating different cultures. From Western Europe to Asia, each region presents its own unique set of cultural nuances and regulatory landscapes. Successfully executing projects across multiple countries requires adept communication and alignment of vision with teams on the ground.

Additionally, I’ve recognized that technology, while essential, is merely a tool—a means to an end. It’s crucial to remain focused on the ultimate goal and long-term sustainability, especially in the dynamic landscape of Asia. Profit-driven strategies may yield short-term gains, but sustainable success demands a broader perspective.

Furthermore, effective program management hinges on people management. It’s not just about tracking progress on project management platforms; it’s about fostering partnerships and aligning incentives to inspire teams to deliver their best work. By cultivating a sense of ownership and shared purpose, we can transform vendors into true partners and ensure mutual success.
