If 1959 marked the launch of one of the most collectible Navitimer variations, 2019 saw one better with Breitling’s latest release, the Navitimer Ref. 806 1959 Re-Edition. Faithful to nearly every detail of the vintage model, the Re-Edition has the same profile and dial details as its 1959 ancestor and even retains the same number of beads on the Edge of the rotating bezel, 94. The tricompax dialled piece comes with an increased water-resistance of 30m, SuperLuminova on the dial indicators, and a new manual-winding reiteration of the automatic Breitling B01 Calibre, the Breitling Manufacture Calibre B09. The chronograph comes mounted on a vintage-inspired leather strap and comes priced at $8,600.
