Shakti Cloud

A catalyst for India’s AI evolution through advanced GPU computing

A Technological Leap Forward

AI is on a meteoric rise. But this surge in innovation requires powerful computing engines—engines that can handle the demands of complex algorithms and massive data sets. Yotta Data Services, an end-to-end digital transformation company, has launched Shakti Cloud, India’s fastest AI-HPC supercomputer that also stands as one of the fastest computing platforms in the world. Built on NVIDIA’s cutting-edge GPUs, Shakti Cloud is a game-changer that democratizes access to world-class hardware and AI platforms, empowering startups, organizations, and researchers to push the boundaries of innovation. Notably, Shakti Cloud is a homegrown innovation conceived, built, and operated entirely within India’s borders.

Positioned as the largest AI supercomputing cloud in India, Shakti Cloud is poised to transform how GPU capacity is accessed and utilized. Its user-friendly self-service orchestration layer streamlines access to GPU, network, and storage capacities. Shakti Cloud will offer on-demand access to the world’s most powerful AI accelerator, the NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU. This substantial processing capability operates within a unified, non-blocking NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand network.

Genesis Of Shakti Cloud

Shakti Cloud, named after the Sanskrit term for power, represents a visionary leap toward establishing India’s sovereign AI landscape. The strategic decision to focus on GPU computing arises from the recognition that GPUs are the driving force behind AI capabilities. In a move that underscores Indian self-reliance, Shakti Cloud aims to create a formidable AI infrastructure controlled within Indian borders.

A Strategic Collaboration For Accelerated AI Growth

Harnessing the advanced capabilities of H100 Tensor Core GPUs, the Shakti Cloud platform opens doors to AI capabilities that were once thought to be beyond reach for businesses and researchers. Yotta’s strategic roadmap outlines an incremental growth plan, aiming to operate with 4096 GPUs by January 2024, scaling to 16,384 by June 2024. With full support from NVIDIA and a shared goal of enhancing India’s AI landscape, Yotta aims to reach 32,768 GPUs by the end of 2025. By deploying hundreds of these powerful GPUs, Yotta will enable developers to tackle complex tasks from medical diagnostics to autonomous vehicles quickly and accurately.
