The Legacy of a Decade with MB&F

Ten years ago, in October 2011, Max Busser-renowned creator and founder of the independent watch brand MB&F-struck gold with yet another idea. This idea opened the doors to audacious haute horlogerie designs in the history of watchmaking.

Meet the LMX, the Legacy Machine X! The timepiece echoes the traits of the first legacy machine, the LM1 with an entirely new twist. The LMX features two time zones and a three-dimensional power reserve of 7 days. The tilted dial and sleek case design take inspiration from the LM Flying T—their first timepiece dedicated to women  and the LM Thunderdome.

The LMX is available in two limited launch editions:

  • 18 pieces in polished 18-carat 5N+ red gold with black NAC treatment on plates and bridges;
  • 33 pieces in polished grade 5 titanium with green CVD treatment on plates and bridges.

Both the versions measure 44 mm wide x 21.4 mm high and come with a high domed sapphire crystal on top and sapphire crystal on back with anti-reflective coating on both sides.

Each limited edition sits on a hand-stitched alligator strap: black with 5N+ gold folding buckle for the red gold version and grey with titanium folding buckle for the titanium edition.

If you are on the lookout for high-end Swiss watchmaking with a flair for the extravagant yet minimal horological instruments, then the new MB&F LMX series is the perfect fit for you!
