Offering tribute to the timepiece where it all began, the new World Is Yours Dual Time Zone is an ode to the Arabov family heirloom – a double time zone watch that Jacob Arabov received at the age of 13, from the hands of his father, Nison Arabov.
Featuring a great domed dial displaying the Earth as seen from the sky, the new World Is Yours Dual Time Zone is a – you guessed it – two time zone watch with independent hours and minutes. The dial surface is curved with three sub-dials and underwent a galvanic treatment covering the piece in rose gold continents while the oceans and seas gleam in lacquered blue.
At the centre of the sapphire-domed dial sits a small seconds display shaped like a wind rose. The crown is located to the right and has three positions – winding, time setting for the lower time zone, and time setting for the upper time zone, allowing the wearer to choose the local time depending on where they are.
Both time zones on the 43mm watch can be set down to the minute, ensuring the wearer can display the local time and home time accurately when traveling to countries with UTC time offsets.
The World Is Yours Dual Time Zone by Jacob & Co. is powered by the self-winding JCAA11 and carries a 42-hour power reserve. It is fitted with a blue alligator leather strap with an 18k rose gold pin buckle and is limited to 999 pieces.
